The Box Trilogy / all boxes are together at last. I have 2 things to do to make them complete. Finish bottom of first box and get new knobs for coffin box.

the coffin box. looks great. put brass pulls on lid for now till i get some other type. i like it best of all boxes right now but i really like each one in an individual way.
I put an album cover from the bootleg album of the 2002 Low Dough festival which the Sex Pistols Headlined and we attended. Glued down and sprayed poly thick. May need to sand and re-poly tomorrow. I painted “Vacant” on the bottom of the lid. Rough sanded, wiped, and sprayed it with black paint / wrote with red / poly with the can. Will check tomorrow. May change the bottom of the lid.
This is with one more spraying of the poly in the can over all surfaces. All that is left is the bottom and the top edges (darken), and a set of cool drawer pulls for the handles of the lid to pull it off to box. I like it.

I ordered one of these skull drawer pulls for an earlier project but now wish I had another. I guess I can always order another tonight but I hate to wait when I am winding this box down. I still have to touch up a few places I marred last night in my drunken poly-frenzy but once that is done the box will only need some sort of cool handles on the top to pull sunken lid off. I think I will do another search for pulls or maybe even go to ? store tomorrow and try to find something I like that will work. I love you.
Up late fucking with possible lid. It will set inside the box top. I wish I had two of those resin handles now for pulls. Polyed the fuck out of the inside of box by pouring half a pint of poly inside and swishing all around till i was happy with the texture. then i flicked some ashes on the bottom for the hell of it.
